La Primavera è arrivata, è tempo di rinascita e cose nuove… ispirata dal periodo e dal bel tempo ho realizzato dei pulcini paffutelli appena scappati dal guscio, anche se l’ultimo arrivato sembra non volerlo ancora abbandonare… Vi presento i fratelli PioPio, non sono un bel gruppo di tipetti allegri?

iniziamo!

Materiali

• filato di cotone di 3 colori: giallo, arancione e bianco
• filo di colore nero per ricamare gli occhi
• filo di colore rosa per ricamare le guance
• uncinetto (in base al filato scelto, io ho usato il 2,5 mm)
• forbici
• ago
• imbottitura in poliestere

1. Con il filo di cotone di colore giallo lavorare 6 mb (maglie basse) nell’anello magico.

2. 2 mb in ogni maglia: totale 12

3. (1 mb, 2 mb nella maglia seguente) x 6 volte: tot. 18

4. (2 mb, 2 mb nella maglia seguente) x 6 volte: tot. 24

5. (3 mb, 2 mb nella maglia seguente) x 6 volte: tot. 30

6-7. Lavorare 30 mb (2 giri)

8. (4 mb, 2 mb nella maglia seguente) x 6 volte: tot. 36

9-12. Lavorare 36 mb (4 giri)

13. (4 mb, 1 dim -diminuzione-) x 6 volte: tot. 30

14. (3 mb, 1 dim -diminuzione-) x 6 volte: tot. 24

15. (2 mb, 1 dim -diminuzione-) x 6 volte: tot. 18

Ricamare gli occhi

16. (1 mb, 1 dim -diminuzione-) x 6 volte: tot. 12

Imbottire e poi ricamare le guance (con il filo di colore rosa) e le zampe (con il filo di colore arancione)

17. (1 dim) x 6 volte: tot. 6

Chiudere lasciando del filo abbastanza lungo per cucire.

Poi realizziamo la piccola cresta lavorando in superficie al centro della testa del pulcino:

(3 catenelle, 1 maglia bassissima nella successiva) x 3 volte, chiudere e tagliare il filo

Ali

Con il filo di colore giallo lavorare 6 mb nell’anello magico.

Chiudere lasciando del filo abbastanza lungo per cucire.

Ripetere una seconda volta per ottenere due ali.

Becco

Con il filo di colore arancione lavorare 4 mb nell’anello magico.

Chiudere lasciando del filo abbastanza lungo per cucire.

Guscio superiore

1. Con il filo di colore bianco lavorare 5 mb nell’anello magico.

2. 2 mb in ogni maglia: totale 10

3. (1 mb, 2 mb nella maglia seguente) x 5 volte: tot. 15

4. (2 mb, 2 mb nella maglia seguente) x 5 volte: tot. 20

5. (3 mb, 2 mb nella maglia seguente) x 5 volte: tot. 25

6. (4 mb, 2 mb nella maglia seguente) x 5 volte: tot. 30

7. (7 mb, 1 mma -mezza maglia alta- nella maglia seguente, 2 ma -maglie alte- nella seguente, 1 mma nella seguente) x 3 volte, 1 mb, 1 mbb -maglia bassissima- nelle 2 maglie seguenti e chiudere lasciando del filo per cucire.

R2. 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sts)

R3. (Sc 1, 2 st in next st) rep 6 times (18 sts)

R4. (Sc 2, 2 sc in next st) rep 6 times (24 sts)

R5. (Sc 3, 2 sc in next st) rep 6 times (30 sts)

R6-7. Sc 30 (2 rounds)

R8. (Sc 4, 2 sc in next st) rep 6 times (36 sts)

R9-12. Sc 36 (4 rounds)

R13. (Sc 4, dec 1) rep 6 times (30 sts)

R14. (Sc 3, dec 1) rep 6 times (24 sts)

Embroider the eyes

R16. (Sc 1, dec 1) rep 6 times (12 sts)

Stuff and then embroider the cheeks (with pink yarn) and the paws (with orange yarn)

R17. (dec 1) rep 6 times (6 sts)

Fasten off and leave a long end for sewing.

To make the comb: surface crochet in a straight line in the center of the chick’s head:

(ch 3, ss -slip stitch- 1 in the next stitch) rep 3 times and fasten off.

Wings

R1. Using the yellow yarn: 6 sc (single crochet) in magic ring. (6 sts)

Fasten off and leave a long end for sewing

Repeat one more time to get two wings.

Beak

R1. Using the orange yarn work 4 sc in magic ring  (4 sts)

Fasten off and leave a long end for sewing.

Upper eggshell

R1. Using the white yarn: 5 sc in magic ring. (5 sts)

R2. Sc 2 in in each stitch around (10 sts)

R3. (Sc 1, 2 sc in next st) rep 5 times (15 sts)

R4. (Sc 2, 2 sc in next st) rep 5 times (20 sts)

R5. (Sc 3, 2 sc in next st) rep 5 times (25 sts)

R6. (Sc 4, 2 sc in next st) rep 5 times (30 sts)

R7. (Sc 7, hdc 1 -half double crochet – in next st, dc 2 -double crochet- in next st, hdc 1 in next st) rep 3 times, sc 1 mb, ss 1 -slip stitch- in next 2 st, fasten off and leave a long end for sewing.

Lower eggshell

R1. Using the white yarn: 6 sc in magic ring. (6 sts)
