kokeshi amigurumi pattern

Per questo schema ho preso ispirazione dalle kokeshi, le le bambole giapponesi realizzate tradizionalmente in legno, che sono ormai diventate un’icona del Giappone.

Le forme stilizzate dal design semplice e minimal le rendono perfette per essere riprodotte in forma di amigurumi.

Dimensioni: con questo schema otterrai una bambolina alta circa 8-9 cm (utilizzando il filato e l’uncinetto indicati)

Difficoltà: Principiante/Intermedio, questo schema è adatto per chi ha già realizzato qualche amigurumi, l’unica difficoltà è rappresentata dal cambio colore.

Ho utilizzato il cotone Catania Schachenmayr, ma naturalmente puoi utilizzare i colori e il filato che preferisci.
Lo schema è realizzato con la lavorazione in tondo a spirale.

Il corpo della bambolina è lavorato in un unico pezzo, fatta eccezione per i capelli che sono lavorati a parte.

Successivamente viene realizzato il decoro sul vestito lavorando con l’uncinetto in superficie.

Chiudere e infilare l’ago con la coda del filo, quindi entrare in ognuna delle asole davanti delle 6 maglie e tirare il filo per chiudere il foro, poi nascondere il filo all’interno.

Chiudere lasciando del filo per cucire e imbottire leggermente.

DETTAGLI DEL VISO E DEL VESTITO

Ricamare gli occhi tra i giri 5 e 6 e la bocca tra i giri 6 e 7

Per realizzare i dettagli del vestito lavoriamo con l’uncinetto in superficie: inserire l’uncino tra i giri 13 e 14 e realizzare 8 mbs in diagonale spostando l’uncino nei giri successivi dopo ogni maglia:

Una volta raggiunto il primo giro di colore rosa, chiudere e utilizzare la coda del filo per ricamare un piccolo fiore stilizzato su un lato del kimono.

ASSEMBLAGGIO

Cucire i capelli alla testa in modo che la frangia sia allo stesso livello circa dei giri 4-5.

Cucire il bun al centro della testa, leggermente inclinato, tra i giri 2 e 5 dei capelli.

Tagliare 2 fili lunghi circa 30 cm, uno di colore acquamarina e l’altro di colore arancio e annodarli insieme facendo 3 piccoli nodi consecutivi poco distanti tra loro, poi infilare l’ago con entrambi i capi dei 2 fili (1).

Entrare su un lato del bun e uscire del lato opposto, il primo nodo bloccherà il filo (2).

Avvolgere i fili intorno al bun in senso orario e rientrare nello steso punto in cui si era usciti nella foto precedente (3).

Sfilare l’ago e fare un triplo nodo per bloccare i fili e continuare con altri 2 piccoli nodi poco distanti tra loro, tagliare il filo in eccesso (4).

La piccola kokeshi è pronta!

ENGLISH VERSION

For this pattern I took inspiration from kokeshi, the Japanese dolls traditionally made of wood, which have now become a Japanese icon.

The stylized shapes with a simple and minimal design make them perfect to be reproduced in the form of amigurumi.

Dimensions: with this pattern you will get a doll about 8-9 cm/3,5 inches high (using the yarn and crochet indicated)

Difficulty: Beginner / Intermediate, this pattern is suitable for those who have already made some amigurumis, the only difficulty is represented by the color change.

I worked in continuous rounds. The doll is worked in one piece, with exception of the hair which is worked separately. The decoration on the dress is made by crocheting on the surface of the body.

Thread the needle and use it to go through each front loop of the 6 sts and pull the thread tightly to close the hole. Weave in end.

R1. Using the black cotton yarn: 6 sc in magic ring (6 sts)

R3. (1 sc, 1 inc) rep 6 times (18 sts)

Fasten off and leave a tail to sew.

BUN

Fasten off leaving a tail to sew and stuff lightly.

FACE AND DRESS DETAILS

Embroider the eyes between rounds 5 and 6 and the mouth between rounds 6 and 7

To make the details of the dress we work with the crochet on the surface: insert the hook between rounds 13 and 14 and crochet 8 sl st diagonally by moving the hook in the following rounds after each stitch:

Once you have reached the first round of pink, fasten off and use the tail of the yarn to embroider a small stylized flower on one side of the kimono.

ASSEMBLY

Sew the hair to the head so that the bangs are at about the same level as rounds 4-5.

Sew the bun in the center of the head, slightly angled, between rounds 2 and 5 of the hair.

Cut 2 portions of yarn about 30 cm long, one of aquamarine color and the other of orange color and knot them together making 3 small consecutive knots not far from each other, then thread the needle with both ends of the 2 yarns(1).

Insert the needle in one side of the bun and exit on the opposite side, the first knot will block the yarns (2).

Wrap the yarns around the bun clockwise and return to the same point where you came out in the previous photo (3).

Unthread the needle and make a triple knot to lock the yarns and continue with 2 other small knots not far from each other, cut the excess (4).
